Joe Kasel and Kevin Geisen are avid St. Paul guys. Both were raised in St. Paul just a- stones-thrown- away from Eagle Street Grille. They both attended Cretin-Derham Hall high School, Where they become friends. Both now live in the Macalester-Groveland neighborhood.

Joe went on to attend the University of St. Thomas and received a degree in Marketing. After graduating, he worked as a broker for several years and then became a pharmaceutical representative. However, Joe didn’t feel the pharmaceutical industry was his calling and longed for the day when he could be his own boss and work in a fun energetic and enjoyable environment. Joe is also the proud father to his daughter, Kennedy Rose.

After high school, Kevin worked in the restaurant industry for six years. He decided a career change was needed and enters the field of construction, which helped him years later with the production of Eagle Street Grille. Kevin, like Joe, realized that working for himself is what he always wanted to do.

The one Great thing they enjoyed was entertaining people, so they knew the restaurant industry would be the place to do this. Two years later, Eagle Street Grille was built.
